Boston Architectural Center
Architect in Boston, MA
The Boston Architectural College (BAC) is an independent, professional college situated in Boston's Back Bay, providing bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and design studies. Established in the 1880s as a club for architects in the Boston area, the BAC has maintained close ties to the professional design community throughout its history. These ties are evident today in the BAC's faculty of practicing specialists, many of them volunteer their time at the College, and in the BAC's dedication to concurrent academic and practice-based curricula as the cornerstone of a design education.

About Us
read moreThe BAC is the largest independent college of spatial design in New England. Architecture and design is all we do, so the people who come to study, teach, and work here are crazy about design. The Boston Architectural College began as a professional club in 1889. In 1971, we became the first accredited architecture program with a work component in the US. Since then, we have introduced programs in interior architecture, landscape architecture, and design studies. One of the biggest reasons BAC students are drawn to architecture and design is that they are naturally creative and constructive.
