We never use pinch collars, choke chains, or electric training collars in our practice as we find them to be unnecessary. Please don't hesitate to ask for referrals. Clicker training establishes a clear, consistent method for communicating with dogs and other animals. Once they understand the meaning of the clicker, it is remarkable how fast they learn and how eager they are to train.

She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. Andrea owns and operates K9sBehave, a Santa Barbara area dog training service that provides private lessons as well as group classes using positive reinforcement methods. Andrea continually studies dog training and behavior, reads books and articles, and attends seminars and conferences.
