The cycle of life never stops. Even as we announced the deaths of two faithful church members last Sunday, we had two pink rosebud vases celebrating two new lives. Even as we currently have had to bid farewell to several loved ones recently (see Personals) there is new life in the neighborhood, with updating in utilities and the sixth Street streetscape beside The Cotton Mill. At Calvary, we've been praying and seeking ways to address the requirements of our neighbors. Under study from Putting Feet on our Faith are the return of the SHARE program, partnering with an organization that assists women at risk, and seeking ways to.

Currently we are holding an in-person worship service at our temporary location at Colonial Avenue Baptist Church at 4165 Colonial Ave, Roanoke, VA 24018. The service is at 2:00 PM. Please join us! Our community gathers weekly to remember and thank God for our many gifts, to pray for needs nearby and around the world, to confess our failures and soak up God's forgiveness, and to gain strength and courage from each other to be God's hands and feet wherever we are the other 167 hours during the week.
