CAROUSAL MUSIC

I'm Howard Calkins, Owner and Disc Jockey for Carousal Music. Since 1996, I have entertained guests all across Western New York and on the Mighty Niagara River. People always ask what music is right for a wedding reception. As you might guess there is no exact answer because a lot depends on the reception itself. But the basic answer to this burning question is that most times the bride and groom want a Big Band Sound, Swing or Pop songs for the 1st part of the reception. Then after dinner, they choose top 40, Oldies, R&B, Country, Ethnic, and Party Participation.
