Cedar Valley College: Math Science & Allied Health

Cedar Valley College serves a young to middle-aged mixed ethnic population. The typical Cedar Valley student is often a 1st generation college student who works either full- or part-time, and who plans to transfer to a four-year institution. About half of the CVC service area households include kids. More than fifteen% of the residents have college degrees and another 26% have attended college but not gained a degree. The biggest group of working residents are engaged in professions or business, followed by wholesale and retail trade.
