Students attending Vision (Christian Campus Ministry) bible studies on the Michigan State University campus were searching for a place to grow in the Lord. Therefore directed by the Holy Spirit, Pastor Sean Holland formed the Apostolic Word Church of East Lansing in January of 2004. The Mission of the church was & is to Preach A Real Word For Real Times, To Teach The Truth Of Salvation, To Prepare God's People For Church & Community Leadership. Although attendance started very modestly, through the grace of God attendance each week increased exponentially.
