Judson Memorial Baptist Church
read moreAt Judson Baptist Church, we believe that God is love and that God shared His love with us by coming down in the person of Christ to walk with us, suffer with us, die for us, and rise again to make us free. This firm belief gives us both hope beyond death and meaning in our everyday lives. Together, we proclaim this good news, encourage one another, and reach out to a world desperately in need of God's love.
About Us
read moreIn 1989, Judson Baptist Church, cooperating with Lansing Christian Services, began a new ministry to supply children in need with clothing. Each child receives new underwear and socks, new and used clothing, seasonal wear, and winter coats by appointment. The Love Clothing Center is open year-round (except July) on Wednesdays and is open on Saturdays as well during the busiest time of year (August-September), when we serve fifty families per week. In 2015, more than 1100 children and youth received $79,000 worth of clothing through our ministry.
New to Judson
read moreJudson has been an outpost of the Kingdom of God, shining his love and mercy into South Lansing for more than ninety years. The surrounding neighborhood has changed a lot in that time, and our society's prevailing culture has changed even more. And yet, Judson continues to stand as a counter-culture, built on the notion that God has created us in his image to glorify him through holy lives, and that he loves us so much that, even while we rebelled against him, he paid the ultimate price to save us and make us his children.
