Christ Temple Church Of Christ

In 1924, five women had a vision to deliver the Church of Christ Holiness U. S. A. To Kansas City and would not be stopped. They must have prayed, fasted and put their monies together to have a place of worship. After worshiping in homes, they were able to secure a storefront. Later, when the church grew, they purchased a building at 702 Oakland, Kansas City, KS. Under the leadership of the late Rev. Maurice Austin, the property and our present site at 801 N. 17th Street was purchased.
