City Gallery 1st opened its doors in June 2003 as an artist-run cooperative. The 16 gallery members curate solo and group exhibitions of their own work as well as that of other artists. City Gallery occupies 675 square feet on upper State Street in New Haven, Connecticut. It is open Thursday through Sunday, noon - 4 p.m. As well as by appointment. Each month, City Gallery opens a new show with a reception to which the public is invited.

Our mission is to present innovative professional art exhibitions. City Gallery promotes creative interaction among artists and the public and contributes to New Haven as a vibrant regional center for the arts. City Gallery first opened its doors in 2003. Its 17 members represent some of Connecticut's finest artists, many of whom have earned numerous awards for their work.
