Serving the Orange County local communities of Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Westminster and Seal Beach, Community United Methodist Church traces it's origin back to December, 1904. It was then that local farmers, began a community Sunday School in a little farming village called Wintersburg. Soon the members incorporated as a Methodist Church and in 1906 the church building, now the Baptist Church situated at Warner and Gothard in Huntington Beach, was built.

Each worship service includes one or two congregational hymns from the Methodist Hymnal or from the more contemporary Faith We Sing and Worship & Song songbooks, accompanied by the piano or organ.
