Courtney Loceff Colorful Abstract Art

In my view, art exists in order to transfer emotion directly from one person to another, and in my experience the use of bold color and shape is the most direct way to express that emotion. I have experimented with many forms of visual expression and I have found that colorful abstract art is the way that I can finest use my talents to share what I feel when I am painting. I do my finest to clear my mind when preparing to do a piece and just let myself go. I feel that the color range and the shapes that the colors make are direct expressions of the emotions that I am feeling at that time.
