
To better serve the membership, the Board purchased property and built an office on Highway 24 which opened July 20, 1969. In 1971 the Credit Union became computerized and Gary Colcher was hired as the accountant. Share Draft (checking) accounts were 1st provided in 1981 and the C. U.s 1st ATM was put into service in 1984. By 1985 the Credit Union's assets had grown to over $30 million. Price retired in 1986 and Colcher was named Office Manager and Treasurer of the Board. Colcher's title was later expanded to President/CEO.
