College in Las Vegas, NV The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) has been the backbone of the state's dynamic growth and prosperity since 1971, when the college 1st opened its doors to 402 students. Since that time, CSN has grown along with Southern Nevada and now has more than 43, 000 students. With the recent downturn in the economy, CSN has seen unprecedented growth as the community looks to the college to be the economic diversification engine the Las Vegas Valley requirements during these uncertain times.

read moreStudents can choose from nine different degrees and certificates in this program on their way to becoming certified automotive technicians. Integrating elements of both fiction and poetry, this program prepares students for transfer to a 4-year institution and careers in writing, editing and teaching. Offering two degrees and two certificates, this program focuses on human biological characteristics, culture, language and our shared human past. This new program features a bachelor of applied science degree and prepares students for in-demand management roles across many industries.

To change from one program of study or major to another (including from personal-enrichment/non-degree seeking to degree-seeking, and vice versa) students must do so online from their MyCSN portal by following Declaration of Major Instructions.

read moreCoyoteQ lets you sign into a virtual line using any computer, smart phone or a campus kiosk. CoyoteQ will send you a personalized text alert or phone call when it's your turn to see a staff member on campus. CoyoteQ opens each day at 8:00 a.m. If you enter a queue prior to 8:00 a.m., the system will not add you until it is activated. CoyoteQ is closed on weekends and holidays. During peak registration periods, the CoyoteQ web sites will close when lines reach maximum capacity for the day.

Eligibility - The emergency fund provides short-term financial assistance to all enrolled degree-seeking students taking three or more credits including all DACA, undocumented and international students.
