The 1950's were the age of the user. The post-war boom brought colossal changes in the home; it was out with the old and in with the new. Open-plan living was introduced, and the suited kitchen with its brand new appliances was the housewife's domain, My digs or yours was a common phrase and that was our intention to bring back the nice ole days by combining the classic with the new.
