About Us
read moreA life-long artist, John Domont creates extraordinary artwork. He is inspired by color and form, composition and light to create a window of experience for the viewer. John is inspired by the three forms of light. My early self-taught years as a photographer took me to some wonderful assignments. From 1976 to 1983, I worked exclusively as a professional photographer for conservation groups photographing threatened habitats and endangered species around the world. My primary clients included: The Center for Marine Conservation (now called Oceans Trust), New York Zoological Society's Animal Kingdom Magazine, Green Peace, and Defenders of Wildlife.
John Domont Fine Art
read moreI offer you a companion in art for the journey of your evolving Life. My interest is to create windows of experience and repose for you, the viewer. My desire is to have a literary language in paint, a thought provoking language of color, form and shape. I am working to develop a language based on internal and external experiences and circumstances that reveal our commonalities. My images are comprised of symbology, figures, abstraction and natural references. I want to express the seen and the unseen, the known and the sensed.
