DCP began as the brainchild of Senior Pastor John King after he visited the original Dream Center in Los Angeles, CA. He saw the impact of the ministries of the Dream Center and felt the urging of God to begin a Dream Center here in Peoria. The idea spread like wildfire. Families and individuals who saw the need were empowered with the tools to affect their community and to see a greater purpose in their own lives. Since then, dreams have grown and the need for more resources have helped to turn those dreams into reality.
