Churches in Nashville, TN Eastwood Christian Church is a community of people brought together and transformed by God's love. In remembrance of Christ Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to reply to Christ's call to discipleship. Currently, the church is joyfully growing and enjoying the resurgence of community life in East Nashville. We're enjoying wonderful music, growing fellowship, and a vibrant kids's ministry (including a wonderful nursery) We continue to be dedicated to outreach ministries to serve our neighbors.

Janet and Tom will be moving into the parsonage at the beginning of February and she will begin her work with us on Monday, February 15. Outreach
read moreOutreach ministries offer various services to our neighbors in East Nashville and beyond. Through service ministries we attempt to bring joy, comfort, peace, and justice to our brothers and sisters. If you would like to serve in these or other ways, please contact a staff member. This year we will building in north Nashville as we have for several years. The build dates are Saturday, February 28; Sunday, February 29; Saturday, March 6; and Sunday, March 7. Providing meeting space for various community organizations such as Narcotics Anonymous, the Eastwood Neighbors Association, comedy & acting groups, and many more.
Children
read moreChildren's classes are typically provided on Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 am in the Education Building. Please see our schedule (ECC Kids Spring 2021 Calendar) for weekends where there is no Sunday school. An age-appropriate Children's Worship for grades 1-3 is held during our 9am Sunday morning worship services. Children in this age group come into the sanctuary with their families to begin worship, then leave after the Children's Message to attend Children's Worship in the Education Building, returning to the sanctuary in time for communion.
Youth
read moreEach Sunday Evening (during the school year) from 5:00pm to 7:00pm a group of about 20 middle school and high school students gather in a positive and brave environment for dinner, games, discussion of teen issues, and service opportunities. Recently we invited neighboring DOC youth groups to join us in a Love Feast! Woodmont and Alameda youth groups joined us in a time of communion, fellowship, and games. Youth are encouraged to attend our regional summer church camp at Bethany Hills, as well as two weekend retreats during the year.
