Tune Up
Most cars should receive a tune-up (also known as a "major service") every two years, or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. During this tune-up your car will receive some new parts that will hopefully keep it out of the shop for a while. Reasons for getting a tune up include: better gas mileage, smoother running engine, more power and longer engine life.
Brake Repair
When doing a brake job, you probably only think about the obvious - replacing your worn pads and shoes. This is one of the key repair areas, but it's not the only one. Remember: A braking system is just that - a system. It's only as safe as its weakest component. A proper brake job means carefully checking all brake system components, from the pedal to the wheels, ending with a road test of your vehicle.
Clutch Repair
Clutch problems can occur at almost any mileage and for a wide variety of reasons. Diagnosing this problems is difficult because a lot of different problems can cause the same kind of symptoms. Replacing a clutch is a labor-intensive job due to the transmission, or transaxle, requiring separation from the engine. So, before you invest a lot of labor in a clutch job, we make sure the clutch is really at fault and needs to be replaced. And, if it does, we will be sure to inspect the entire clutch system once we have disassembled everything and have the clutch out to see if any additional parts need to be replaced. It is better to do a thorough job once than a half-hearted job twice.
Transmission Repair
Changing the fluid in the transmission of your vehicle helps to promote proper operation and aides the transmission to last longer without failure. All car manufacturers have different service intervals for their particular transmission. However, in a typical service, the fluid is completely flushed, the filter is changed, the transmission pan is cleaned and a new pan gasket installed. When refilling, we use manufacturer specified fluids.
