Comics and Star Trek fueled my passion until I moved to Houston in 1974 and fell upon the comic convention scene. There I found art prints by Frazetta, Frank Brunner, Stephen Fabian, Barry Smith and others, too many to list. I couldn't get enough! But I was on a limited budget, so I began buying multiple copies of my favorites from the artists - keeping one and selling the others at shows. This was perfect for about 12 years, during which time I learned the art of framing, matting and displaying the art I had for sale.
