Fetch The Leash has been caring for many pets in Athens since 2003. Founder and owner, Maria Clara Carrelli, keeps herself busy as a individual trainer (for humans) and racing her mountain bike. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in business management. Little did I know that when I began Fetch The Leash it would become what it is today. I began the business shortly after moving to Athens in order to have a flexible schedule and still be capable to train to race my bike.next Thing I know I have 3 additional care givers working to aid me and seasonal helpers.

read moreAll care givers are carefully selected by Brandon. After an application and interview process of a potential sitter, they are required to submit a criminal history report and several references prior to training. All sitters must be at least 21 years of age or older.and of course LOVE pets! The training doesn't stop there. We go over EVERYTHING that you went over with us during the initial consultation and any updates since then. Brandon personally goes to each home with a training sitter. On-going training continues regularly with monthly meetings and lots of communication in between.
read moreFor each new client we schedule an in-home consultation in order to meet you and your pet(s). During this time, we go over your pet(s) needs, routines, and other important information. There is no charge for this meeting, but if an additional meeting is requested $15 will be charged. Please print and fill out the "pet sitter's instructions" and "terms and conditions" forms prior to the meeting. We also request two (2) copies of a working house key. Offered for people who are going out of town and need someone to come by the house and check in on their pets throughout the days.
