We're a church steeped in tradition yet innovative in new forms of ministry. Since the early days of the history of this community when the original Gilbert family and the Chandler family all 1st worshipped at the Chandler Methodist Church in Chandler, Methodism has been a vital force in this area. Then Methodists from First United Methodist Church in Mesa and Methodists from Gilbert worked together to kick off a Sunday School program in Gilbert. From the beginning a strong foundation has been laid in Gilbert for worship, Christianeducation and community outreach.

We believe each child is created to have a relationship with God and with unique talents and abilities to influence their world and community. We are dedicated to helping each child become a deeply devoted child of Jesus! We recognize that no one has more influence over a child than his or her parent. Because of this, we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church.
