Jim began working on cars with his father under the old shade tree in the front yard when he was very young. He rebuilt his 1st engine when he was 15 years old. This was the beginning of the finest education from the School of Hard Knocks. Add to that lots of formal training through lots of aftermarket classes and constant updating of equipment and acquiring the knowledge to use this equipment for him and all of the employees. This is what it takes to keep on top of our trade. I always try to take attention of the client's vehicles as if they were my own.

After years of learning and working on cars Jim and his late wife Sarah opened Foster's Service October 1st, 1983. At the time he only used half of the building. By 1991 his business had grown and Jim wanted to offer same day service on most repairs and give quality professional service quickly so he moved to Fosters current location.
