About Us
read moreSouthern View Chapel is an independent Bible Church that is committed to handling the Scriptures accurately through the exegetical teaching of God's Word. We believe in the teachings of the Bible and trust in it as our single source of authority for beliefs and practices. We believe there is but one living and true God who is infinite, eternal and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, and love existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe mankind was created in the image and likeness of God; by Adam's sin all men inherited a sinful nature, became alienated from God and are unable, in and of themselves, to remedy their lost condition.
Children
read moreThe desire of our Children's Ministry is to build a solid biblical base for our children to grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We provide classes for children from walkers (18 months) through 6th grade. Our curriculum is God-centered and committed to teaching the inspired Word of God. Our curriculum covers both the Old and the New Testaments so the children get a full picture of who God is, His grace, and His plan of salvation through Jesus Christ as well as practical every day application.
Ministries
read moreBut merely being equipped is not the end goal. The goal is ministry, or service. With this goal in mind, Southern View Chapel looks to be active in global outreach as well as meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our local body of Christ.
Youth
read moreThe purpose of our youth ministry is the same as that of the church: to glorify God. We strive to equip and encourage disciples when we are gathered through preaching, teaching, correction, gathered worship, singing, and other activities with others who seek the heart of God. We actively work to equip disciples through instruction in individual bible study, instruction in prayer, training in evangelism, individual counseling, and through consistent reminders of the desperate need for individual daily worship of God.
