Lifelong animal lover, Lorain Chester opened Glamour Paws in 1996. With the aid of her loving husband Wayne and many other nice people, they created what is now one of the best grooming boutiques in Fort Worth. Lorain began her career working after school, taking care of the boarding cats and dogs of Stonewall Kennels, in Downers Grove, IL. The owners of the kennel bred and showed Standard Poodles, Yorkshire Terriers and Italian Greyhounds. They taught Lorain to groom their in-house show dogs, which is where she began her career of 30+ years.
