read moreWhen are your services? We have two services on Sunday morning at 7:45am and 10:45 a.m. We also meet on Wednesday afternoons at 11:45am and Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm for Bible Study. How do I get there? Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church is located at 101 N. Adams Street, South Bend, IN. We are located off of Orange Street across from the Martin Luther King Center. We can also be reached off of Washington and Liston across from Frankie's Barbeque. Where do I park? We have a large parking lot outside of the church and additional parking across the street and in front of the church.

read moreDeacons assist the Pastor in serving the needs of the church family, providing guidance, hope and comfort to members. They ensure that, upon request, GSJ members are visited and prayed for during times of hospitalization. The members of the Minister's Wives and Deaconess serve as positive role models to the women of the church. Their responsibilities include assisting with the observance of church ordinances i.e. baptism, and the Lord's Supper. They also assist with baby dedications. The mission of the Greeters Ministry is to provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors and members who attend our church services and to direct them to the various areas of the church.

Our mission is to bring the Gospel to our fellow members and others using the latest in multimedia technology (audio, video, and web). The Brotherhood is a ministry designed to equip men of the church with the tools needed to live a Christian life and to use their talents to the glory of God while leading the lost to Christ. They also are dedicated to mentoring our male youth. The goals of the Missionary Society are: to serve the Lord Jesus, through the service they render to humanity; to foster good homes and Christian education; and to support Home and Foreign Missions.
