read moreWe've been spending the last several months giving the rugs a deep washing and attending to many needed repairs. One example is a runner from the Lobby. The corner at one end was badly damaged. We recreated the design and stabilized the fringe (photos below) in addition to hand wrapping both edges of the rug with new wool. Our friend, Noah Harms, owner of Something to Sell About (pictured right with partner Richelle Lieberman) brought us a client's gorgeous 1930's Persian Kerman rug to clean. What's so unusual about that?

read moreAfter lathering, your rug is rinsed several times until all the shampoo and extracted dirt is removed. This is where our cleaning method differs from an in-home process or from steam cleaning. The only way to completely remove ALL traces of shampoo and dirt is to rinse the rug fully, which we are able to do. Once rinsed and excess water extracted, rugs are hung to dry in a controlled environment with warm air that circulates continuously for several hours. Most rugs will dry within 24 hours. We guarantee yours will be 100% dry when it is returned to you.

Drivers must be actively engaged in loading or unloading. Unable to bring your rug to us? We offer pick up and delivery service Monday-Friday between 7am-noon. Our pick up area stretches from San Francisco, Oakland, Marin, Napa and Alameda County, to Contra Costa County in the East Bay. Pick up can normally be scheduled within a day. Emergency pick up of wet rugs is always a priority and we strive to offer same day scheduling.
