Our Vision is that we'll carry out our aim so successfully that we'll impact and/or eliminate the cycle of poverty for our families. read moreESL, CDA, and ACHIEVE! classes are available online and accepting applications. ACHIEVE! is for current clients only at this time. Saut classes are resuming in-person training in South Salt Lake in December and January with additional health and safety procedures in place in. GED classes continue virtually. We are still providing deposit and emergency rental assistance, landlord-tenant mediation, and case management over the phone. All walk-in or in-person appointments are suspended at this time.

read moreVolunteers play a critical role in providing services for all six of Utah Community Action programs. We place volunteers in our Head Start classrooms, Central Kitchen Meal Preparation & Clean Up, Neighborhood Food Pantries & Resource Centers, Facility Beutification, Fundraiser & Event Staffing, and Summer Food Programs. Volunteers help achieve our larger goals of empowering clients and giving them tools for self-reliance. By volunteering with Utah Community Action, volunteers can not only give back to the community but also hone their skills in social work, human services, and food service handling.
