The TARC facility includes a 16-lane swimming pool, fitness center, rock climbing wall, running track, and basketball/multi-purpose courts. The TARC operates the College’s Campus Recreation Program, which includes special events, group fitness classes, and other services to promote a healthier quality of life for our entire Carthage community.

Undergraduate Admissions
read moreWe’re excited to offer individual in-person visits! Visits last about two hours and will include a campus tour and meeting with an admissions and financial aid representative. Each family will be limited to four visitors including the prospective student. We’ll continue to offer virtual visits throughout the summer as well. Carthage offers majors, minors, and concentrations in more than 50 areas of study, including biology, finance, nursing, international political economy, education, theatre, and neuroscience.

read moreApplications are currently being accepted for spring 2021, fall 2021, and spring 2022 admission. We’re here to help you. First-year and transfer students usually enter in the fall semester, but applications also are considered for terms beginning in January, February, and June. Carthage operates on a rolling admission basis, and applications are reviewed as they become complete. A non-refundable application fee of $35 must accompany the application. A waiver of this fee is possible if the applicant demonstrates financial limitation and requests consideration for an exemption from the Office of Admissions.
