Pentecost signals God's presence with his people then and through all time. T is the kick off of the Trinity season, six months that tie Easter, and Advent together. While the calender moves further from Easter Sunday, we never move from those glorious words shouted out early Easter Morn. He is Risen! He is risen indeed! With those simple words we ushered in the celebration of our Lord Jesus' victory over sin and death. With the empty tomb on Easter Sunday, Jesus completed his mission.to Take our place and sacrifice himself to cleanse us from all sin.

read moreAlthough we lost our funding through Concorida College in Bronxville, we continue to draw those we have Spanish as a first or second language. Last years ESL was a huge success with 20 students enrolled. The semester ended with a pot luck party on December 8. This ESL program has been a joint mission between Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Concordia College. The teachers include staff from Concordia, and Holy Trinity's Spanish worship leader, Hector Silva. We pray that the Lord will find ways to send the funding so we can continue this outreach into our very diverse community.
