Independent Karate School

The Independent Karate School was established in 1979 on the premise that the martial arts are for everyone. We trust that the art should be customised to the personal, and not the other way around. Our name comes from our practice of focusing on our own students. While our top instructors have trained with several of the greatest martial arts masters, we're not part of any national chain or organization. We don't participate in programs or gimmicks. We teach karate the way it was taught to us more than 30 years ago.
