The Institute of Business and Medical Careers (IBMC or the College) was established in 1987 under the name of Medical Careers Training Center and was situated on College Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado. The College has been owned and run by The Laub Company. Since 1991. Originally, the College awarded diplomas in the area of Medical Assisting. In 1995, due to rapid growth of the student body, as well as an increasing awareness of a need for business programs in Northern Colorado and surrounding areas.
