Jan Parker Kitchens By Design

With a background in graphic design and a degree from Wichita State University, Jan Parker started her career in kitchen planning and design in the early 1980s. In 1987, Jan became the 1st woman in the state of Kansas to obtain the professional status of Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) In the late 1980s she started studying the design and marketing of model homes. Jan's model home designs were showcased in such areas as Polo Estates, Tallgrass, and Beacon Hill. In 1989, she founded her own firm and showroom, Jan Parker's Kitchens by Design.
