Dogs, particularly the German shepherd dog have been an intregal part of my life ever since I can remember. I grew up in a very tiny town and was told as a toddler our German Shepherd would pull me back up on the lawn as I tried to make my escape into the street. When I was in my teens I was very privileged to be capable to work with a trainer from Germany, not only with dogs but with cats and horses as well. It was an extraordinary learning experience. I must confess, though, that I never thought that at some point in my life it would actually become my profession.
