But after a decade, I'd tired of the high-tech industry by the time my first daughter, Cyd, was born. The days were long and the work was unrewarding. I wanted to spend more time with her. Hayley's father was running a small company installing paver driveways in Marin County at the time, so she and her husband made the move from Los Angeles, and Hayley decided to take some time to help her dad organize and grow his business.
