Don Brennan started exploring holistic healing, in 1977, after he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. He received his 1st training in energy healing in 1981. But it was in 1993, when he 1st learned Reiki, that he started to provide his healing to others. In 1995, he became a Reiki Master, in order to teach and to pass on the gift of Reiki in the Central New York State area. As a long-time advocate for Reiki, he was thrilled that a hospital fund paid him to teach 25 team members at Crouse Hospital, to aid bring ease and comfort to oncology patients.
