Maretta Fine Arts
Museum & Art Gallery in Olathe, KS
Maretta Kennedy combines her passions for art and horses in sculpture, paintings and furniture. Her skill as an equine artist was developed, in part, by dealing with show horses for 15 years. She worked in an art bronze foundry for four years earning in-depth knowledge of how bronzes are made and being mentored by master sculptors. Having this knowledge she does much of the finishing work herself. Her understanding of the process and commitment to the work ensures that the resulting sculpture is of the best quality and what she and her customer envisioned.

About Us
read moreIt has been said that when you combine skill and passion, you should expect a masterpiece. Art and specifically bronze sculpture are my profession and passion. I have been an eager student of art all of my life, but feel I truly found my niche many years ago when I took my first clay sculpture to an art bronze foundry. I was immediately offered a job, and thus began my education in bronze sculpture. During the four years I worked at the foundry, I was mentored by some great sculptors and gained thorough knowledge of bronze casting and finishing processes.
