I have used many different therapeutic approaches and consider myself more of an "eclectic" therapist as every client is different. I have found that what works with one person or family doesn't always work for another. Primarily, I use Self Psychology, Systems Theory, Psychodynamic, Family of Origin and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. When I work with families, I draw heavily on my Family Systems training. I have found great power in the use of transparency, empowerment models, motivational interviewing, relational work and strengths focus.
