MSCC was born in 1986. The school was established by Dina Perry. Dina has been involved in the Pet Industry since 1971, and known for her work internationally. In 1991 Sandy Cook became the School Director. Sandy and Dina worked together until 1996 when Sandy took over the operation of the school and purchased it. Sandy has worked in veterinary practices and with groomers since 1981. Her degree in Business and her skilled trade of pet grooming has made its contribution to MSCC throughout the years.

You complete the program being both capable and confident to secure a job in the grooming industry. The Pet Grooming Plus Program is a 600 hour program that takes your grooming education to the next level. In addition to all the skills covered in the Basic Grooming Program, the Pet Grooming Plus Program focuses on the more advanced skills of hand-scissoring and hand-stripping.
read moreThe MSCC staff has been put together to offer our students a wide variety of knowledge that has been gained over several years in various areas of the animal industry. Staff members have previous experience working in veterinary practices, grooming salons, mobile grooming vans, shelters, training and handling, and doggy daycares. MSCC staff members also attend continuing education seminars located across the country several times a year to ensure that they are up to date on new trends in the industry.
