We're dedicated to providing a well-rounded program to our students; from the wonderful techniques and disciplines of classical ballet, jazz, tap, modern, Irish, tumbling, pilates and yoga to the fun and exciting contemporary styles of hip hop, ballroom and broadway theatre dance. Our 3 private music studios and 4th multi-pupose room enables us to provide private lessons at flexible times, and group lessons in a bigger room. We provide private and group music lessons for boys and girls of all ages. Choose from voice or instrument lessons (guitar, piano, flute, clarinet, trumpet, tuba, violin, cello, drums, and more)

read morePERFORMANCE DIVISION PROGRAM Performing is a vital element of dancers growth. Momentum's Performance Division was created to give dancers the opportunity to experience life in a pre-professional dance company and to share their passion with the dance community. Dancers have the option to audition for company roles in Ballet, Jazz/Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Tap. Performance opportunities include Community Tours, Dance Festivals, and Conventions throughout the PNW area. PD Ballet Company Members are given the opportunity to dance Principle, Solo, and specialty roles in our 2 Full length Ballet Productions.

read moreCOMMUNITY OUTREACH: MMDA offers classes via the Burien and Tukwila Parks & Rec programs. We also work with local preschools and reach out to our senior community by offering performances at local area senior living residences. We offer public performances several times per year in Burien, Renton, Des Moines, and Seattle. We rely on supporters like you to help us fund our scholarship program and high-quality theater performances. Donations are tax-deductible and help us achieve our mission and support Burien and Seattle-area youth who have interests in dance, music and theater.
