Preschool in Miami, FL Montessori Children's House is the original and only so named school initially set up in 1976 in the Bird Road area to understand the aims of Montessori education for preschool kids. Due to its enormous growth, the school has since expanded and relocated in 1996 to the Crossings area in the West Kendall community. The school is licensed as an Educational Institution through Miami Dade County and the State of Florida and is accredited through the Pan American Montessori Society (PAMS) Montessori Children's House is open all year round.

Our teachers are more than employees, but rather make up an integral component of a partnership between students, parents, and administrators. All members of our staff are trained and/or certified Montessori teachers. Teachers are required to have recognized certification, such as Child Development Associate and/or a Florida Child Care Credential certificate, at a minimum.
Toddler
read moreOur Acorn room is designed for toddlers who will be age 18 months-3 years old by start of the school year. Toddlers strengthen speech and language development as well as both fine and gross motor skills as they explore self, family and the world in which they live. The toddlers learn concentration, coordination, language skills, responsibility and respect-all of which prepare them well for a successful transition into the Primary classroom. Toddlers transition from our program confident and well prepared for the transition to the Primary class.
