Morgan Contemporary Glass
Museum & Art Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA
Pittsburgh is well recognised as a city supportive of the arts, and is home to cultural institutions such as the Andy Warhol Museum, the Mattress Factory (contemporary art installations) the Carnegie Museums and Libraries, the Frick Historical Center, as well as the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts (international and local contemporary arts) the Society for Contemporary Craft and the Pittsburgh Glass Center. However, the city lacked a glass gallery until January 1997. Morgan Contemporary Glass Gallery exhibits glass sculpture, goblets, and jewelry from the best emerging and founded artists working in glass today.
