Munro's Furniture

It was the mid 1960s and the Munro family was preparing for a monumental event: After years of planning, the family was realizing its dream to own a furniture store. The grand opening of Wall Units Home Furnishings in Long Beach attracted many local residents. And with high-end furniture from locations such as Europe and South America, the store speedily garnered a reputation for being hip and happening. It was a true family effort. Ken Munro handled accounting and finance, and his son Doug excelled at sales.
