National Atomic Museum
Museum & Art Gallery in Albuquerque, NM
The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is the nation's only congressionally chartered museum in its field and an intriguing place to learn the story of the Atomic Age, from early research of nuclear development through today's peaceful uses of nuclear technology. Originally known as the National Atomic Museum, it was set up in 1969 on Kirtland Air Force Base before moving to Old Town. We're now in a new location at 601 Eubank Blvd. SE in Albuquerque. We'll remain a Smithsonian Affiliate member.
