
The Park Ridge Free Methodist Church was born under the leadership of Rev. Roy Goodrich. Organized in 1946 the early church met in a rented pony barn at the corner of Ridge Road and Fetzner (current location of The Marriot) Two years later we became an official church and in 1950 built a new church on Ridge Road at a cost of $28, 000. 00 (currently a Starbucks)With a vision for greater ministry a 5 acre site was purchased from the Wegman family and on September 28, 1969 the current facility situated at the corner of Straub Rd and Long Pond was dedicated.
