Noretta Dunworth started teaching at the age of 12 in 1940. She began out teaching in her parent's basement with just a several of the neighborhood kids. It continued to expand into what it is today, 70 years later, one of the mos honored studios in the country! Noretta's greatest success is in the quality and consistency of her successful students. Not just in the state of Michigan, but in all parts of the US and Canada, her students now have their own dance studios and have been successful themselves.

Noretta Dunworth School of Dance offers: The Ceccehtti Method, Russan Vaganova Method, and a non-syllabus class. The Cecchetti Method is a graded system that develops and teaches the student from basic ballet in Grade 1 all the way through professional levels. Our instructors are certified to teach through the professional levels. The non-syllabus classes are designed for all students to experience a variety of steps and movements.
