It allows a child to have a safe relationship with a parent, free of conflict. Supervised parenting time is facilitated by a professional supervisor, who maintains both eye and ear shot of the parent at all times. The supervisor does not provide therapeutic interventions, but does intervene when things are done or said that could put a child at risk.

Participants will learn about family transitions through the eyes of each family member, relevant risk and protective factors to healthy child adjustment, and skills to effectively manage co-parenting relationships. Classes are taught by a skilled clinician, and participants receive a certificate of completion that can be provided to an attorney or court. These classes are held in Vancouver on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am to 2:30pm, with a half hour break in the middle.
