Situated in a pretty, historic building, our studios have an expansive atmosphere, with twenty-foot ceilings, large skylights and are filled with light. We're dedicated to providing the highest quality of yoga instruction in an inspiring and uplifting setting. The Santa Barbara Yoga Center provides an ongoing 200-hour YOGA ALLIANCE APPROVED TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM, with renowned instructors such as Erich Schiffmann, Lisa Walford and Sarah Powers.

read moreBarbara has been practicing at the Yoga Center for many years, so the desire to help our beloved center grow came naturally. Not a yogi by trade, she is a classical recording engineer (Opus 1 mobile recording) and occasional theater sound designer, and so is grateful helping to bring beautiful music to the world as well as yoga! And, as a passionate environmentalist, Barbara happily brings those values home and to work. Here is to healthy humans, beautiful arts and a healthy planet on which to live and do good work.
