Steve Griffis, a native of Oklahoma, graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. He attended the University of Oklahoma and received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1987. Mr. Griffis is a 1994 graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Moot Court Board and the Law School Board of Governors. During law school, Mr. Griffis worked for AT&T Wireless Services as a Contracts Administrator in their Technical Operations Group.
