Old House Cafe
Restaurant in Tacoma, WA
Back in 1907, Frank and Mary Pittman moved into their pretty new home on the comer of North 28th & Proctor in Tacoma's Northend. They paid Mr. C. W Jones, prominent Tacoma architect and contractor, a whopping $3, 000. Frank was the district director of the Pacific Coast Merchandise Company and a tea broker. He often stored merchandise in his home. Many families lived in the house throughout the years. It was converted into a duplex in the '40s and eventually fell into disrepair.
