Carlos Mejias and his wife Sandy established the nationally renowned Olde Towne School for Dogs in Alexandria, VA, in 1975. Carlos and Sandy Mejias met Mark and Barbara Fried over twenty five years ago while walking their dogs - Rottweillers and Briards at the time. Both couples have harbored the dream of an extraordinary dog training facility and now bring it to fruition at their 27, 000 square foot facility in Springfield, Virginia. Before opening the Olde Towne School for Dogs, Carlos and Sandy mentored with one of the most respected dog trainers in the country, Captain Arthur Haggerty.

Our Day Camp pets are required to be spayed or neutered by six months of age. DOGS four months and older need up-to-date Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella inoculations. CATS four months and older need up- to-date Rabies and "FVRCP." We request that guests check-in no earlier than 2 PM and check-out by noon so that we may prepare the suite for the next guest.
